A Christadelphian Vision

We are committed to these ideals:

As Christadelphians, We Love God

We are sure He exists. Our foundation is understanding His word; we uphold its truth; we value its clarification. We believe all God’s promises. We are brothers and sisters of His son, Jesus the Christ. We remember his sacrifice, believe in his resurrection, and watch for his return. We anticipate citizenship in his Kingdom, and we hope for world peace. We long for the end of human suffering; the end of sin; the end of death. We wait patiently for the hope of Israel, the world’s redemption, and the glorification of the earth.

As Christ’s Disciples, We Are Committed to Obedience

We trust its outcome. We seek righteousness, mercy, justice, and peace. We love one another, and we trust each other. We are one body, having one faith, one hope, one mind, one baptism, and one accord. We see ourselves as diverse individuals with distinct virtues. We respect our distinction, yet we see ourselves as one. We practice love. We depend on mercy. We confess our sins. We overcome our weaknesses. We elevate humility. We keep ourselves unstained from the world. We are driven by faith, and motivated by hope. We abhor strife, and are strengthened by agreement. We avoid violence and revere gentleness. We edify, restore, comfort, and support one another. We leave judgment to God.

As Ecclesias, We Are One

We worship God together in spirit and truth. We pray as one. We remember His son. We are thankful for grace. Each member is cherished; each child is directed toward baptism; each individual is built up; each concern taken to God in prayer. Our afflicted are visited. Our assembly is vital, our functions attended. Our errors are corrected with humility, gentleness, and patience. Our variations are allowed, our unity maintained, and our weak restored. Our ecclesias interact by the Commandments of Christ. We teach the Bible.

As Families, We Are Directed by Principles

We nurture strong marriages, trained children, permanent faithfulness, and lovingkindness. We are full of joy. We encourage our children to see themselves as a part of God’s family. We struggle together. We reduce our weaknesses. We forgive each other. We increase faith and build character. We read the Bible. We pray.

As Human Beings, We Love Others as We Love Ourselves

We serve salvation. We tell other people about the Kingdom. We spread hope. We live the truth. We nourish faith, and find wisdom. We are ready to answer questions about our beliefs. We advance understanding of the Bible. We comfort those in pain, and help those in need. We care for humanity; we wait for its global blessing.

We Are Being Made in the Image of Our Father, and We Identify With His Son
